RBF Morph will participate in the ENGYS User Group Meeting (UGM) 2026, taking place from 21 to 23 October in Madrid, Spain. Organised by ENGYS in partnership with RDT, the event brings together engineers, CFD specialists, industry professionals and developers to exchange experience, discuss real-world applications and explore the latest developments in computational fluid dynamics.
As part of the technical programme, Marco Evangelos Biancolini, Founder and creator of RBF Morph, will deliver a presentation on 23 October entitled “Continuous Manoeuvre CFD in HELYX Using RBF-Based Reduced-Order Mesh Motion: A Formula 1 Braking Case.”
The presentation will demonstrate how RBF-based reduced-order mesh motion can enable continuous manoeuvre CFD simulations in HELYX, using a high-fidelity Formula 1 braking case as an example. The approach addresses complex vehicle kinematics and tyre–ground interaction while avoiding repeated mesh regeneration, offering an efficient methodology for simulations involving large and continuous changes in geometry and motion.
RBF Morph’s participation further highlights the growing collaboration between the two companies. In June 2026, ENGYS and RBF Morph announced a partnership integrating the capabilities of rbfCAE with ENGYS’ CFD solutions, bringing advanced mesh morphing, shape optimisation and fluid–structure interaction capabilities to engineering workflows based on HELYX and ELEMENTS.
The ENGYS UGM provides an important opportunity to showcase these capabilities within the international CFD community and to exchange expertise on innovative approaches to simulation, design exploration and engineering optimisation.
RBF Morph looks forward to contributing to the technical discussions in Madrid and to meeting ENGYS users, partners and members of the wider CFD community during the event.
